NAGS "Rebalancing" to Occur in January 2005

NAGS plans to introduce its List Price "Rebalancing" in January 2005, said Jesse Herrrara, general manager of NAGS in a speech at the Independent Glass Association's annual convention, last week.

Both Herrara and NAGS director of editorial operations Bud Oliver took part in a session about NAGS pricing.

They promised an ongoing communication with everyone involved and affected by the process about the impending changes, and to provide retailers with the necessary tools to aid preparation for the process. The preview of the full rebalancing calendar will be finished in the fall of 2004 and the rebalancing is expected to take place at the start of 2005.

In detailing the communication plan, Herrera explained that NAGS representatives will make appearances at additional industry forums with all constituencies, including retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers.
