NFCB Changes Pricing Structure

Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries has notified PPGSelect® participants servicing zip codes in North Carolina that North Carolina Farm Bureau (NCFB) has changed its glass claims pricing structure, effective February 1. The company notes that the changes affect both standard program rates and PPGSelect rates.

"Please remember, PPGSelect companies are awarded a preferred position in the NCFB program and are prioritized to policyholders when there is no consumer choice," reads the memo issued to participants via e-mail today. "PPGSelect participants service over half the claims processed for NCFB."

The new pricing is as follows:

	Territory A	Territory B	Territory C	Territory D
Windshields	30 percent off NAGS	30 percent off NAGS	30 percent off NAGS	30 percent off NAGS
Tempered	30 percent off NAGS	30 percent off NAGS	30 percent off NAGS	30 percent off NAGS

In addition, the company will pay $40 per hour labor, a flat fee of $23 for kits and $60 for the first repair (and $10 for each additional one).
