NWRA Representatives Return to Connecticut

Several representatives from the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA), including president Paul Syfko of Glass Media America and vice president Mike Boyle of Glas-Weld Systems, recently attended another Connecticut Automotive Glass Work and Flat Glass Work Examining Board meeting on Friday, February 27. Also in attendance was Safelite's Glen Moses, who has been attending the meetings, focusing on the possible licensing of windshield repair, for more than six months. While no decisions were made, Moses is working on a proposal to take to the group's next meeting on March 18 for the licensing of windshield repair.

Discussion of windshield repair focused on a range of topics, including the number of repairs allowed on a windshield, eliminating the critical viewing area, allowing repair of cracks up to six inches and the number of repairs in a specific area.

In addition to the business of the meeting, Boyle conducted a windshield repair demonstration.
