Connie Nelson to Take over Nelson Marketing; Rick Nelson to Rep Bohle Products in California

Rick Nelson, founder of Nelson Marketing in Garden Valley, Calif., a company most recently known for its development of the GlassBot™ windshield removal tool, has taken on a new role as sales and operations manager for Bohle America's new West Coast facility. His wife, Connie Nelson, has become president of Nelson Marketing.

"Connie has always been at my side from our time running our own glass shop, Georgetown Glass, where she was office manager for 10 years, to working the trade show booths for the BTB USA sales office," says Rick Nelson. "She managed imports and exports while in that position as well. Connie is familiar with all aspects of auto glass as she would normally be on the other end of a windshield when we were working together in our shop."

Nelson got his industry start in the early 1980s working for window manufacturers, and then moved into the retail sector with his own mom-and-pop glass shop, where Connie Nelson served as office manager. During his time running his own glass shop, Nelson developed a moulding product in 1991, and started Nelson Marketing (until recently, it was called Delta 9 Products), and soon after went to work for BTB Tools North America. Since that time, he also has worked with Equalizer Industries, C.R. Laurence Co. Inc. and Pilkington North America. Bohle is a supplier of machines, accessories and tools for glass processing and finishing.

"I am quite active and after getting the Glass Bot up and running with exports to the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan and Australia, I found I still had a lot of time on my hands and saw this opportunity with Bohle America," adds Rick Nelson. "I have always been a fan of their products and being a glazer at heart, jumped at the opportunity to join with them."
