Nippon Sheet Glass Makes Subsidiary Changes, Decides Not to Appeal EC Fine

Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) announced today that it will not file an appeal against the decision by the European Commission (EC) to levy a civil fine of EUR 140 million (USD $206.8 million) against Pilkington with regard to the European building products glass sector. It also announced it will merge its subsidiaries, NSG Kanto Co., Ltd., NSG Tokai Co., Ltd. and NSG Kansai Co., Ltd. into a single company.
