PPG Delays Price Increase

PPG Auto Glass's previously announced increase on the price of glass has been delayed until July 30. It previously was scheduled to take effect on July 19. An e-mail was sent to PPG Auto Glass customers this morning, July 12, by PPG. The company plans to increase the price of windshields by 4 percent and the price of tempered parts by 7 percent.

Representatives from PPG's pricing division were not available for comment today.
