Report of Settlement at PPG Facility Premature

The report last Tuesday on glassBYTEs™ that the employee walkout at the PPG facility in Savage, Md., was ending has turned out to be premature.

According to sources at the facility, employees have continued the walkout after "no reasonable agreements" were reached.

"They want to target our pension plan in order to keep our health plan," states Steve Baker, shop steward.

At press time, PPG was unavailable for comment.
