AGTO Contestant Close-Up: Brendan Picard, NOVUS Auto Glass

glassBYTEs.com™ and AGRR magazine are marking the days until the Third Annual Auto Glass Technician Olympics and the Second Annual Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics by introducing this year's competitor field with contestant profiles.

Brendan Picard, shop foreman for NOVUS Auto Glasss in Regina, Saskatchewan, will compete for the first time in this year's Third Annual Auto Glass Technician Olympics. Picard, 29, has ten years experience in the industry. He was awarded the title of Best Auto Glass Technician by the Glass Dealers Association of Saskatchewan this past May.

Picard and his wife, Kim McKay, have two children, Brittney, 10, and Jenna, 5. In his spare time, he enjoys snowmobiling and flying remote-control planes.
