New Online Service Glass.net Becomes First Website to
Offer Three Auto Glass Replacement Quotes
RBS Interactive, parent company of nationwide auto glass replacement
company 89Glass, has announced the launch of Glass.net,
a new glass service that provides three auto glass quotes on one website.
"Internet customers like to shop around," said Chad Kreutz,
national director of glass for RBS Interactive. "We're providing
the opportunity for online shoppers to get three different auto glass
prices all on one site. That saves them time and effort. We expect the
response to be overwhelmingly positive."
Customers with a cracked windshield-or in need of auto glass replacement
for back glass or side glass-can access Glass.net to get three windshield
quotes from three competing auto glass installers on one website. According
to the company, this is the first time such a service has been offered
on the Internet. This feature represents a major innovation in online
auto glass price quoting.
Using the Glass.net website, customers can choose one of the three quotes
and schedule service with the chosen auto glass installer.
"In general, auto glass installers aren't taking advantage of the
convenience of the Internet like they could," said Rob Schmidt, chief
executive officer of RBS Interactive. "We're helping them to connect
with customers in an innovative way. We think Glass.net demonstrates what
the Internet can do for both customers and auto glass installers."
Glass.net is the latest auto glass service from RBS Interactive, which
also operates 89Glass.
