ROLAGS Revisions Submitted to ANSI

The recently proposed revisions to the Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard (ROLAGS) voted on and approved by the ROLAGS Standards Development Committee have been sent to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The group recently voted to reduce the length of the crack addressed in the Standard from 14 inches to 6 inches. (CLICK HERE for related story.)

The ROLAG Standards Development Committee also voted to reword Annex B and move it into the body of the standard under Section 6. (CLICK HERE for full text of proposed changes to the Standard.)

A public comment period for the revisions to the standard is now open and will continue until mid-February. Comments should be e-mailed to Peg Stroka at pegm@ptd.net.

The ROLAGS Standard was developed jointly by the National Windshield Repair Association and National Glass Association.
