Shat R Proof Returns as Ruby Sponsor of Auto Glass Technician Olympics

Shat R Proof of Savage, Minn., has signed on as a returning ruby sponsor for the Fourth Annual Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO). This year's AGTO will be held in Las Vegas November 7-8, 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The event is co-sponsored by the Independent Glass Association and AGRR magazine.

"SRP is pleased to be a ruby sponsor of the Auto Glass Technician Olympics again this year," says David Osland, vice president of marketing and product development for the company. "This is our third year of sponsorship and it is a great way for us to help the industry promote safety and doing the job the right way. It is also a pleasure for us to recognize the hardworking men and women in the auto glass replacement industry with an event such as this."

The first-place winner in the AGTO will receive an increased first prize of $10,000, a gold medal and trophy as well as bragging rights as "World's Best Auto Glass Technician." Second place will receive $1,000 as well as a silver medal and third will receive $500 and a bronze medal.
