Saf-Ti Glass Leaves Auto Glass Business Behind

Saf-Ti Glass Distributors Inc. of Rochester Hills, Mich., is exiting the auto glass distribution business, effective February 4.

"Saf-Ti is exiting the auto glass distribution business due to the lack of profitability of that business segment," says Craig Bradford, senior vice president of Saf-Ti's parent company, Diversified Glass Services Inc. in Rochester Hills, Mich.

According to an announcement from the company, it will continue to ship auto glass parts until its current stock is depleted.

The company's other offerings include flat glass products, insulating glass units and tempered glass, along with metal and commercial products.
