Safelite® Solutions Employee Honored with Collision Industry Association's Award

A Safelite Solutions employee was recently recognized in Las Vegas by the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) for her work benefiting auto glass replacement.

Kathy Goddard, a Quality and Assurance Analyst in Safelite's Claims Management Department with 14 years of experience developing electronic billing programs, was recognized by the CIECA with an Outstanding Dedication Award at the organization's annual awards ceremony on Oct. 31. The award is presented to volunteers or volunteer groups that exhibit exceptional leadership, contribution and dedication within the CIECA organization.

"A group of Kathy's peers unanimously nominated her for this award, which speaks volumes about her character and dedication to the glass industry," said Fred Iantorno, CIECA Executive Director. "Every week she never fails to step up to make things happen. We at CIECA are thrilled to have her play such an integral role."

CIECA creates a number of electronic specification standards that are used within the collision industry for the exchange of electronic information and commerce. During the past six months, Goddard has participated in both the Glass Committee, which is responsible for developing standards to electronically exchange data between parties involved in the auto glass replacement industry, and the Architecture Committee, which establishes rules and is responsible for developing the technical and architectural aspects of CIECA standards.

"I was aware they were nominating members for their annual awards, but I did not expect to be one of the nominees or recipients of the awards," said Goddard. "I was truly honored."
