Safelite Co-Sponsors Nationwide Golf Tournament

The Columbus, Ohio-based Belron US (formerly Safelite Glass Corp.) is co-sponsoring the Nationwide Tour, a nationwide golf tournament that is in Columbus July 9-15 for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational.

While Nationwide Insurance is the named sponsor on the tour and, according to PGA, holds the "umbrella sponsorship," it has numerous co-sponsors, including Belron US.

Tom Feeney, executive vice president for Safelite Auto Glass, a division of Belron US, told the Columbus Dispatch that his company's relationship with Nationwide encouraged it to join in this cause. "Nationwide is a very important client of ours, and we were satisfied that a high percentage of money raised goes back to Children's Hospital," Feeney said.
