The Third Annual Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics (WRO) proudly announces the return of the 2007 judges to this year's competition at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, November 6, 2008. Jay Bickford, Paul J. Gross and Lucien Boulanger will oversee this event once again and award one winner $1,000 and title of "World's Best Repair Technician." Jay Bickford of NOVUS Glass began his career in the auto glass repair industry back in 1987 as a windshield repair technician for NOVUS Windshield Repair in Albuquerque, N.M. His dedication to the industry and NOVUS has taken him through the ranks of management and since 2001 he has served as director - training and development for the company. Paul J. Gross represents Harmon Solutions Group and brings more than 17 years of experience creating, owning and operating several highly successful business operations. Currently, he is the president of Harmon Solutions Group. Paul is a founding member of the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) and serves on its Board of Directors. Lucien Boulanger returns with more than 19 years in the repair industry. He began as a technician for Walt Gorman at A-1 Windshield Doctor in 1987. He was promoted to management and took over as president upon Walt Gorman's death. Boulanger brings experience as an international trainer to the competition. WRO is co-sponsored by the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) and AGRR magazine and will be held alongside the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE. The competition takes place Thursday, November 6.
