Asahi Glass Company has announced the expansion of its AGC Automotive Americas aftermarket business unit. The unit will manage the sales and operations of the replacement glass business for both North and South America. It will be operated from new offices in Columbus, Ohio but will maintain offices in its present Cincinnati, Ohio and Long Beach, California locations.

Blair Imbody, currently General Manager - AGC Automotive Replacement Glass North America, will be responsible for this business unit. He has an extensive background in sales, marketing, operations and planning with 16 years experience in the automotive industry in both the OE and ARG arenas. Blair has an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a BA from American University.
