Auto Glass Technician Olympics to Expand; Repair Competition to be Added

Not only will the Auto Glass Technician Olympics find the best auto glass technician in the world but it will also crown a champion windshield repair technician.

AGRR magazine has announced that a separate competition for windshield repair will be inaugurated this November as part of the Olympics. The "Walt Gorman Memorial" Windshield Repair Olympics will award $1,000 and bragging rights to the best technician.

The competition is named in honor of Walt Gorman, the recently departed AGRR columnist who devoted much of his career to the advancement of windshield repair. It will be held November 3-4 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in conjunction with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE Show.
