The Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards Committee has responded to a proposal made Tuesday by the Independent Glass Association (IGA) that LYNX furnish a donation of 25 cents to AGRSS for every windshield sold to enable AGRSS to continue and advance its programs and services.

"While we were a bit surprised by the suggestion by IGA, we are always open to innovative ways to fund AGRSS programming. As AGRSS increases in monitoring of compliance to the Standard, any such funding would be welcomed and we appreciate IGA's suggestion. Any such program would be entirely up to LYNX of course," said Cindy Ketcherside, chair of the board of directors.
