Diamond Glass Companies Announces AGRSS Registration

Kingston, PA - July 21, 2006 - Diamond Glass Companies (DGC) has become a registered company of the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards (AGRSS) Council, a not for profit organization dedicated to the safe replacement of auto glass.

AGRSS registration demonstrates DGC dedication to providing top quality safe installation service to its customers. In an effort to lead by example, DGC anticipates that its registration with AGRSS will demonstrate to the insurance industry and all of its customers the substantive value and a long-lasting impact on safe installations.

Doug Boyle, CEO of Diamond Glass Companies states, "the time has come for a major player in the industry to step up and make a commitment that will shine as an example throughout the industry. We are proud to be that company."

AGRSS Secretariat Rick Church said, "As with all AGRSS-registered companies, Diamond's commitment to providing quality, safe installations for their customers is evident by their achievement - receiving AGRSS registration. This is a significant accomplishment, one that any company should be proud of. We think the industry leadership demonstrated by Diamond will encourage other companies to pursue the quality, safe installation methods outlined in the AGRSS standard."

In addition, DGC has committed to raising the bar on its internal training and certification program. It will be partnering with a separate organization, the National Glass Association, and implementing a fast track technician training program. The program will include existing NGA training material and its new MyGlassClass.com program. "Our expectation is to have all of our glass technicians certified by the second quarter of 2007. Working with the National Glass Association will expedite this process tremendously. This is truly an exciting time at Diamond Glass Companies," commented Charles Turiello, Director of Quality Assurance and Safety.

David Walker, Vice President of Association Services at the NGA agrees, "We are very impressed by the moves made by Diamond Glass to seal their reputation as an industry leader. They are putting actions behind their words, by focusing their entire company on safety and training. Diamond Glass is setting the standard for all auto glass companies to follow."

DGC is also pleased to announce plans to set up an internal quality council that will provide DGC with innovation updates that will impact auto glass installation and related safety concerns. They believe that this will not only impact DGC, but will also be an added benefit to the auto glass industry. The council will be comprised of auto glass industry leaders including Gilbert R Gutierrez; Senior Technical advisor for the Equalizer Tool Company, Robert Beranek; President/Owner of Automotive Glass Consultants Inc, Carl Tompkins; Western Sales Manager for the Sika Adhesive Company and DGC representatives.

Karen Christopher, President of Diamonds Glass Companies adds "It is a new day in auto glass and Diamond Glass Companies is posed to meet it with enthusiasm and leadership. Our alliances with AGRSS and NGA will move the industry forward to meet the challenges we face in the future,"
