Contestant Close Up: Andy Larimore

AGRR magazine and the GlassBYTEs.com daily email newsletter are marking the days until the Windshield Repair Olympics by introducing this year's competitor field with a daily contestant profile.

Hailing from Boise, Idaho is Andy Larimore, manager of Windshield Repair Specialists.

Taking part in the inaugural event, Larimore brings 18 years of experience in the windshield repair industry to pit against the competition.

Married with two children ages seven and four, Larimore's hobbies include photography, golf and raquetball.

The Windshield Repair Olympics is sponsored by AGRR magazine. The event follows on the heels of the National Windshield Repair Association Conference. Both events, along with the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS) Conference and Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO) are co-located this year with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE.

The events will be held November 1-4, 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
