Occasionally a story about an animal crashing through a car's windshield makes the news. Usually these stories are about deer or moose in more wooded areas, though chicken and other fowl have strayed off their flight path and into that of oncoming vehicles. Now, too, have reindeer. Not your average, sleigh-pulling reindeer, however.

Two juveniles and a 16-year old were arrested recently in Island Park, N.Y. for throwing a wooden reindeer lawn ornament at a city bus, shattering the bus windshield. The bus driver was able to stop the bus without further incident and was treated at a local hospital for glass shards in his eyes from the breakage.
