GM,
Applied Films to Release Earnings Reports and Conduct Conference Calls
General Motors and
Applied Films Corp. have both announced that they will release the financial
results to the public within the coming week, each sponsoring conference
calls shortly following the release of the information.
GM has scheduled the
release of its first-quarter consolidated financial results for Tuesday,
April 20, 2004 at approximately 8 a.m. to be followed by a conference
call conducted by vice chairman and chief financial officer John Devine
to be held at 9:30 a.m. EDT. GM has announced that its conference call
will be comprised of a question-and-answer session with financial analysts
and the media after a review of the results and is expected to last approximately
90 minutes. It will also be webcast on the GM website, and a tape replay
of the call will also be available on the website for 48 hours after the
call is completed.
The PRNewswire has
reported that Applied Films Corporation, provider of thin film deposition
equipment for architectural, automotive and solar glass, will report its
third fiscal quarter financial results on April 21, 2004, followed by
a conference call at 3:30 p.m. MDT to which the public is invited. During
the conference call, Thomas Edman, president and chief executive officer,
and Lawrence Firestone, chief financial officer, will discuss the results
of the quarter.
A replay of the conference
call will be available through April 28, 2004 and Applied Films will also
provide a live broadcast of the conference call for the general public
via audio webcast on the company website.
