The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announces a partnership agreement with the California Autobody Association (CAA). The new partnership was recently approved and ratified by ASA's board of directors.

"We're pleased to join in partnership with the California Autobody Association. The opportunity for industry groups to participate in partnership relationships is a result of ASA's strategic plan," said Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. "We believe there's great value in partnerships with groups who share our goals and interests. Together, we're able to accomplish great things for the industry."

CAA is a nonprofit trade association comprised of more than 1,000 individual and independent businesses within the automobile collision repair industry. Its mission is to enable the auto body industry to survive and prosper by helping its members produce a quality repair for the consumer at a fair price for a fair profit.

"The California Autobody Association is extremely excited about our partnership with ASA," said Kelly Swenson, CAA 2004 president. "ASA has been very supportive of CAA's most recent California legislative efforts ... Both groups are very excited about how we can work together in California to continue the success in the collision repair industry."
