Glass Expo Midwest 2006 Popular: Ballgame Tickets
Sold Out, Show Floor Nearly Filled
Members of the glass industry certainly are excited about Glass Expo
Midwest 2006. Tickets to the White Sox/Yankees game that Wednesday are
sold out, though interested parties can be added to the waiting list should
more tickets become available.
Another good indicator of the success of the event is the trade show,
which is nearly sold out of booth space for exhibitors. Only a few booths
remain. Newcomers to this year's show include Horizon Fabrication Inc.,
and North American Glass Equipment. There are still opportunities for
companies to sponsor the golf tournament, which will be held Wednesday,
August 9, 2006 at Highland Woods Golf Course in Schaumburg, Ill. The event,
a four-person scramble, has no team restrictions and attendees are invited
to "bring your best team."
Glass Expo Midwest begins on Thursday, August 10 with seminars and workshops
starting at 8 a.m. at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention
Center in Schaumburg, Ill, a suburb of Chicago. The accompanying trade
show floor opens at 3 p.m. on the 10th and at 10 a.m. on Friday, August
11.
Online registration is available for attendees, which offers a pre-registration
discount and helps attendees avoid the lines of on-site registration.
