Flyer Suggesting Boycott Being Circulated

A flyer is being circulated around the industry via the Internet calling for a boycott by auto glass shops on February 28, the day the new NAGS rebalancing is scheduled to be implemented.

Organized by a group called National Auto Glass Boycott, the effort is designed, according to its flyer, to get the insurance companies to "offer reasonable pricing."

The flyer states, "If we all refuse to take the work…the "national" companies can't handle our combined volumes. They will have to offer reasonable pricing!"

Many posts on industry chat lines have been taking the same direction, calling for industry unity and a refusal to do work for insurance companies that have issued O&As that are described as unreasonable.
