Cindy Rowe has been named to the board of directors of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Pennsylvania.

The board's 16 members are responsible for the overall functioning of the agency, which annually provides home health care and hospice services to nearly 4,000 people in the region.

Rowe, founder and president of Cindy Rowe Auto Glass, served as a registered nurse for 13 years before launching her company in 1980. Her nursing work included service with the VNA. Eighteen months ago, Rowe reactivated her nursing license through clinical training and online nursing coursework.
