Contestant Close Up: Dan Boehmer

AGRR magazine and the GlassBYTEs.com daily email newsletter are marking the days until the Auto Glass Technician Olympics by introducing this year's competitor field with a daily contestant profile.

Leading the lineup of competitors in the second annual Auto Glass Technician Olympics is Dan Boehmer with AGRSS-registered Gulf Coast Auto Glass Service in Englewood, Fla. The Master Auto Glass Technician brings 20 years of experience to the competition in Las Vegas.

Married with two children, Boehmer enjoys scuba diving and riding motorcycles in his spare time.
He will be using Dow brand adhesives at the competition.

The Auto Glass Technician Olympics, now in its second year, is co-sponsored by the Independent Glass Association (IGA) and AGRR magazine. The event follows on the heels of the second annual Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS) Conference and both events, along with the National Windshield Repair Association Conference and the Windshield Repair Olympics are co-located this year with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE.

The events will be held November 1-4, 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
