Glass Doctor, an affiliate of the Dwyer Group Inc., of Waco, Texas, has hired Mark Dawson as vice president of operations. As a longtime Glass Doctor franchisee, Dawson brings 13 years of company experience to this newly established position.

"Dawson will work on upgrading and developing Glass Doctor's training program," said Robert Tunmire, president. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position and will be a vital part of Glass Doctor's success now and in the future."

In 2001, Dawson opened a Mr. Rooter franchise in addition to his Glass Doctor franchises in Columbia and Nashville, Tenn. He has relocated to Waco from Columbia, Tenn., with his wife, Heidi, and two children.
