eDirectGlass
Expands Management Tools in the AGRR Industry Integrated Document Imaging
System Offers Relief
eDirectGlass has begun
offering its customers the option of document and image management at
no additional cost. Effective immediately, eDirectGlass customers are
able to attach or directly scan any image or document to any eDirectGlass
work order, invoice or claim record.
"eDirectGlass
has an unwavering commitment to enable our customers to remain productive
and competitive by providing them with the best management tools,"
said Gary Hart, chief operating officer for AMJ Logistics, Inc. "Our
imaging solution will reduce these frictional issues by over 75 percent
and enable better communication practices between the trading partners."
According to the company,
the imaging tools will allow the user to attach any scanned document to
the claim record. Documents such as customer signed work orders, parts/materials
purchase orders and network paper authorizations can become a permanent
part of the electronic claim thus eliminating the need to store these
paper documents. For eDirectGlass Mobile customers, users of the PalmOne
Treo 600 can even take digital photos of the vehicle before installation
and attach it to the repair order thereby protecting the AGR shop by documenting
prior damage.
