On the heels of controversy spurred by Catherine Howard's article on GlassBYTEs on January 17, 2005, the lawsuit filed by Farmers' Insurance against Legacy Auto Glass has also prompted industry feedback. Perhaps after forcing their agents and policyholders into accepting brutal service conditions as a result of using "HelpPoint," Farmers feels compelled to paint a gallant P.R. image as a benevolent big brother," wrote Jim Horrox of The Stockton Glass Group.
