Attendees to Glass Expo Midwest (GEMS) next week will have the opportunity to attend a seminar focusing on sales and marketing techniques to help stay competitive in the ever aggressive market. Led by John Baker of Sandler Sales Institute in Irvine, Calif., Sales and Marketing for Glass Shops will be offered Thursday morning, October 14, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. A well-attended seminar at previous Glass Expos, including the recent Glass TEXpo 2004, Baker discusses tips for gaining up-front contracts and closing sales without cutting prices. GEMS runs October 14-15, 2005 at the Four Points by Sheraton Milwaukee Airport in Milwaukee, Wis. Show attendees will have the opportunity to learn from the informative Glass Expo Midwest glass show and seminars, while experiencing the vitality of Milwaukee. Visit the glass show for the Midwest region at the Baton Rouge Hall, ground level Thursday, October 14 and Friday, October 15. Show runs 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Friday.
