Glass.net Completes Beta Testing; Rolling Back System for Fine Tuning glassBYTES.com has confirmed that RBS Interactive, the company that owns and operates Glass.net, has temporarily suspended nationwide use of the internet-based job referral program while it "fine tunes" specific aspects of the process. "We had a very successful Beta test and good feedback from the shops," Chad Kreutz, national glass director, of RBS and Glass.net told glassBYTES.com. "We wanted to solve the issue of [ensuring] the price that we quote online on the shop's behalf is both accurate and profitable for the shop. One of the things we're trying to do with Glass.net is make it a job generator for shops and we hear from them that the prices they're paid by the networks aren't profitable; we're making sure that these jobs are different. It takes some effort to tie all that in across the country." Kreutz says the company expects to return the program to full capacity
and resume job referral by the end of the month. CLICK HERE with questions or for more information. |
