Timmons Joins Glass America

Joel Timmons has joined Glass America, the independently-owned, Chicago-based glass company. He joined the company in October 2005 as a regional sales manager, overseeing business in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.

Timmons, who had been with Dow for 16 years, came to Glass America from Diversified Glass, where he'd been employed since February of 2005.

"My experience with Diversified was extremely gratifying and I leave with great respect for the management of the business, but the opportunity to join a company like Glass America was too good to pass up," said Timmons, who reports to Nick Frye.

Still working from his home-base of Dayton, Ohio, Timmons plans to continue with his involvement in the auto glass industry.

"I still look forward to being a contributing member to the AGRSS standards committee and the AGRSS board of directors," he said.
