Dan Mock, former franchise system manager, has been named vice president of operations for Waco, Texas based Glass Doctor. He replaces the roll previously held by Mark Dawson, newly appointed president of Glass Doctor.

In this position, Mock will be responsible for all operations of the company and will also assist Glass Doctor through its continued growth, training and adoption of the franchise system throughout its network.

"Dan's more than 30 years experience in the glass industry has proven to be a valuable asset, not only to the home office staff, but also to our franchisees," said Dawson. "This experience will continue to help guide our company as we grow."

Sine joining the Glass Doctor team in March 2001, Mock has played an active role as a liaison between the software development team and company's franchisees, assisting with software enhancements. He as also served as an instructor at the company's training sessions.

In 2004 he was promoted to senior franchise systems manager and was recognized as the Franchise Systems Manager of the Year.
