Glas-Weld Hosts First Webinar Session

Glas-Weld Systems Inc. of Bend, Ore. has announced that it will host its first Webinar session on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 8 a.m. PDT. The company says that the session will feature an update on the latest information from the National Glass Association (NGA) and National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) meetings held in May.

The June web session is the first in a series of five that Glas-Weld plans on hosting over the coming months. Currently scheduled for July 6 is a session on the "Science of Glass Breakage in Windshields."

Glas-Weld customers who participate in the webinars will earn points toward Glas-Weld products and services and will also have the opportunity to become accredited through Glas-Weld's University of Glassology, the company's virtual and traditional training center for glass restoration education, according to the company news release.

"We are excited to offer this new educational service to our customers," said Mike Boyle, Glas-Weld president. "The webinar format will allow instant, interactive access to all the latest information and ideas that can help build better businesses."
