Midwest Glass Conference hosted by MGA

The Minnesota Glass Association has announced that it will host the Midwest Glass Conference on September 14, 2006. The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Comfort Inn in Plymouth, Minn. and is open to the industry at large. Following an exciting afternoon, the MGA and Johnson Sales will hold a dinner and party featuring the Wally Pikal band.

Participants will hear from a variety of renowned national speakers and be able to visit a market exhibition featuring industry products and representatives. Speakers will include Carl Thompkins representing the AGRSS Council, Roger Axel of the Association of Minnesota Building Officials, Melissa Kern and team members from State Farm Insurance.

The MGA was founded in 1977 and is an alliance of architectural and auto glass professionals. The association says it is sponsoring this event to enable members to keep abreast of strategic concerns, evolving regulations, developing techniques and best practices. This is serves as its main annual event for this year.
