Import Glass Corp., headquartered in City of Industry, Calif., has decided not to adopt the new proposed National Auto Glass Specificaions (NAGS) rebalancing set to be implemented February 28TH 2005.

In a letter to customers dated February 11, 2005, the decision not to make the switch to the new pricing structure is spelled out, noting that decisionmakers in the company do not feel the rebalancing reflect acquisition costs accurately.

"We will continue to use the same discounts using the current NAGS Calculator effective September 6, 2004 and our current addendum. We will not be making any pricing changes without notifying you in the future. We hope that in the future we can follow pricing specifications that properly reflect manufacturing costs," the letter said.
