International Window Film Tint-Off Expands to Include Flat Glass Tint-Off

The search for the best window film technician will expand next year as the International Window Film Tint-Off expands to include a flat-glass competition. The two-day event, now in its fifth year, had brought the world's best automotive tinters together in contest.

The upcoming tint-off, which is co-sponsored by WINDOW FILM magazine and the International Window Film Association, will include two competitors--one for auto glass and one for flat. The event will be held on Sunday, February 27 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida during the International Window Film Conference and Expo.

Winners compete for cash prizes, ranging from $500 to $5,000, trophies and a variety of other prizes.
"It is the Olympics of Tinting," said organizer Debra Levy of Window Film magazine, "and we will now have athletes competing in more than one category."

The Tint-Off is the highlight of the three-day educational event, which includes seminars, presentations, demonstrations and exhibits. Attendance is free to IWFA members who register in advance; a variety of registrations are available to non-members, ranging from $10 to $119. To enter the Tint-Off, please contact your window film distributor.
