Contestant Close Up: Jamie Browning

AGRR magazine and the GlassBYTEs.com daily email newsletter are marking the days until the Auto Glass Technician Olympics by introducing this year's competitor field with a daily contestant profile.

Jamie Browning, an auto glass technician with Team Acme Inc. in Henderson, Nev., will put his 13 years of experience up against the rest of the field at the second annual Auto Glass Technician Olympics.

Browning is single with no children and is no relation to fellow competitor Mark Browning.

He will be using Dow Automotive adhesives at the competition.

The Auto Glass Technician Olympics, now in its second year, is co-sponsored by the Independent Glass Association (IGA) and AGRR magazine. The event follows on the heels of the second annual Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS) Conference and both events, along with the National Windshield Repair Association Conference and the Windshield Repair Olympics are co-located this year with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE.

The events will be held November 1-4, 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
