Leach Provides Clarification

glassbytes.com™ has been contacted by Dave Leach, division manager/Colorado for Belron USA, who felt our article, as written, did not tell the whole story (see article).

Leach said that the office closing at year's end is actually a Belron Inc office, where a number of administrative functions had been consolidated as Belron purchased Elite and other companies, beginning in 2005.

"All the Elite field, sales and operations staffs are still in place, as well as the Safelite associates," said Leach. "The integration has gone remarkably well."
