A new auto glass bill was proposed to the New York House of Representatives yesterday that would link aftermarket auto glass installations to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). The bill, A8374, would require all auto glass installations to be consistent
with federal motor vehicle safety standards. Introduced by Assemblyman Clifford
Crouch, whose assembly headquarters is in Binghamton, N.Y., the bill is co-sponsored
by five other members of the assembly. Stay tuned to glassBYTES for updates on this and other legislative bills as more information becomes available. |
