The following item was included in the police report in the Lake Country Reporter issue of August 4. Theft - A 21-year-old Fort Atkinson man could be cited for theft over a caulk applicator gun after it fell off a truck July 7, and then he allegedly tried to sell it on eBay. According to the complaint filed with police at 8:13 a.m. July 27, an employee of Auto Glass Specialists, W240 N901 Pewaukee Road, stated the gun fell off the truck July 7 when a utility compartment opened in the Town of Brookfield near Goerke's Corner. The employee stated the Fort Atkinson man called the business to report he had picked up the gun and it would be returned after work, the report said. Auto Glass Specialists did not get the gun back and on July 25 an employee of another business called stating it was seen the on eBay. When police spoke with the Fort Atkinson man he stated he had told Auto Glass Specialists that they could pick up the gun after work and when he did not hear from them for several days he put it up for sale on eBay, the report said.
