Forget the Lotion, Check the Dell

Last week's news that a terrorist plot had been foiled in London immediately raised national security concerns and prompted a change in what is allowed as a carry-on item on airplanes. No gels or liquids of any kind can be taken onboard an airplane in carry-on luggage, though computers and cameras, for the time being, are still allowed.

Shortly after the foiled terrorist plot, news broke that Dell has issued a recall on nearly 4 million batteries for certain Dell notebooks. A manufacturing defect leaves them prone to catch fire under certain circumstances. The notebooks affected by the recall are: Dell Latitude™, Inspiron™, XPS™ and Dell Precision Mobile Workstation™.
