Lyle Hill to Speak at Independents' Days Convention Lyle Hill, president of MTH Industries in Chicago, has been involved in both architectural and automotive glass industries for more than 30 years. He brings that experience to the Independent Glass Association (IGA) Independents' Days National Convention and Spring Glass Show 2005 in Orlando, Fla., in February for a seminar on working in both segments of the glass industry. Hill will speak at 2:30 on Friday, February 25, 2005, in a seminar titled Auto & Flat Glass, Do They Mix? In this seminar, he will look at what someone who is involved in one aspect of glass, and not the other, should consider regarding branching out. The session will give attendees an overview of what to expect if facing the decision to cross from one industry segment to the other. Hill will explain some of the common assumptions that don't necessarily apply in each business and will give an overview of margins, supply chains, etc. The IGA's Independents' Days National Convention and Spring Glass Show 2005 will be held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Fla., February 24-26, 2005. |
