Mainstreet Computers Debuts New Website Design

Mainstreet Computers Inc., the Belleville, Mich.-based computer software developer that caters to the glass industry, has redesigned its website.

"We rolled out our new website about April of this year. It simply was time for a facelift as our site needed to better serve both our sales and support objectives. Our first step was to bring it in house to better design, develop and manage its ongoing usefulness," said Mark Haeck, sales manager for Mainstreet Computers Inc.

The original website, designed around the company's green and white logo, has been replaced by a sleek but equally simple design, with the logo still prominent, but anchored on the left of the screen, tying together images of computer technology and the fast-paced world in which business is conducted today. A menu bar headlines the page and the company's slogan "Our Software. Your Success," runs with the company's welcome in the middle of the screen.

"We looked at the resources our current and prospective customers needed and provided them. Our site now provides better information on our products and their features and benefits. Support of our customers is our primary concern. For current customers our website now provides comprehensive training tutorials, a complete set of manuals, program and data updates/downloads and much more. We even have the ability now to connect to a customers system through our website for any sales, training or support issue," Haeck said.
