The industry has been buzzing about a new National Auto Glass Standard (NAGS) to be issued on May 9. A call to NAGS headquarters in San Diego, Calif., confirmed that there will be a new publication out that day, but that it's nothing more than the regularly scheduled spring edition of the pricing structure.

"It seems close because the last one came out in February, but that one was originally scheduled to take effect in January," Jesse Herrera, NAGS general manager said.

The new edition will include new vehicle numbers, more labor times and part numbers that were not previously available. Herrera said that the new catalogues will mail next week.
