The NGA/NWRA Repair of Automotive Glass Standards Committee will hold its'
first meeting on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the NGA Auto Glass
Conference & EXPO in Tampa FL. The meeting will be held at the Tampa
Marriott Waterside in Meeting Room 13 from 8 am - 5 pm.

This committee is being formed to draft a proposed standard for the repair
of automotive glass. This is a joint venture of the National Glass Association (NGA) and the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA).

Once completed, the proposed standard will be submitted to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for approval as an American National Standard. We would like to invite anyone with an interest in the creation and content of the standard to serve on the committee.

There will be a charge for serving on the committee to help support the standard drafting process and defray cost involved with that process. There are only three categories of membership and your fee to serve on the committee is determined by your category. If you have already donated money for the creation of the ANSI standard for the repair of automotive glass,
the money will be applied towards your committee fee.
