Robert Louis Bouchard, the former president and chief executive officer of Glass Distributors Inc., a wholesale distributor of automotive and architectural glass, died August 2, 2004 at Sibley Memorial Hospital. He was 75.

Bouchard co-founded the company in 1956 after working for miles Glass Co. and retired from Glass Distributors in 2001. The company, operated by his son, Stephen, now solely focuses on architectural glass.

He is survived by five children, 12 grandchildren, three brothers and a sister.
