Message Board Opens for Auto Glass Technician Olympic Contenders

Former and potential contestants of the Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO) now have a place online to ask questions, trade tips and get advice about the event in the new chat area created by AGRR magazine.

The AGTO is co-sponsored by AGRR magazine and the Independent Glass Association and is scheduled to be held this fall. The grand prize is $5,000 (plus a gold medal and bragging rights as "World's Best Auto Glass Technician"). It once again follows the AGRSS conference.

The message board, located at www.agrrmag.com/olympics.php, will be moderated by 2005 Auto Glass Technician Olympic Gold Medalist Jeff Olive of Glasspro Inc., in Summerville, S.C. Olive is also serving as an alternative judge in this year's competition. Judges Gilbert Gutierrez, Steve Coyle and Bob Beranek will also answer questions, offer advice and suggestions.
