The first ever Auto Glass (AG) Industry Technician Olympics will be held October 16-18, 2005 and competitive slots are limited. For those who have multiple individuals who could qualify for the competition but want to send the best of their best, holding an Auto Glass Industry Technician Olympics qualifying "feeder" competition might be the best way to determine just who to send.

AGRR magazine, a co-sponsor of the event, has created AG Technician Olympics "Feeder" Kits, which are now available online. Included in the kits are marketing materials encompassing a flyer and sample announcement to send to local newspapers, a copy of the rules and regulations according to how they will be judged at the Technician Olympics, a sample score sheet for how contestants will be judged during competition and a sample score sheet.

The Auto Glass Technician Olympics, co-sponsored by AGRR magazine and the IGA will be held at the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and the grand prize is $5,000 (plus a gold medal and bragging rights as "World's Best Auto Glass Technician"). It follows the first ever AGRSS conference to be held at the same location October 16-17.
